Technical Services

Tricom Networks

Our Technical Services organizations can serve as the “single source” for your projects implementation or perform in a supporting role for any portion of the Project Management, Engineering, Materials Management, Installation, Testing and Final System Acceptance.

The Engineering portion of each project would include Network and System Design, Detailed Engineering and Site Documentation. After an initial site survey a complete documentation package would be created to support the network build including, floor plan, rack layouts, overhead ladder rack diagrams, fiber raceway design, cable running plans, Signal flow diagrams, AC/DC power and grounding design, and any live system cut-over Method of Procedures, (MOPs) and a complete project schedule.

Project materials management and materials furnishing are provided as part of a complete project installation. Working from site engineering documents we would create the comprehensive materials list and furnish all the required equipment, materials and ancillary products to prepare the site and complete the project. These include HVAC, electrical, grounding, cable and equipment racking, DC power, copper and fiber management, BDFB, rectifiers and batteries and miscellaneous ancillary cables and hardware. While this list not all inclusive it should address some of the most common needs for a new site or addition to an existing site.

We offer professional installation services including the site preparation, ancillary equipment and all OEM equipment. As a licensed general and electrical contractor combined with our technical operations we can provide the sites “build-out” preparation such as HVAC, AC power and lighting, central grounding and safety compliance. We would complete any ancillary installation such as cable racking, auxiliary framing, fiber and copper management and fiber raceway infrastructure, DC systems and distributed grounding. We maintain certifications and relationships with many of the major OEM’s for the installation of wireless BTS, Distributed Antenna Systems, Microwave radio, Fiber Transport and Ethernet transport and switching systems.

Our System Acceptance Testing will be a complete and comprehensive test of all active and passive systems and the complete network architecture upon installation completion. All testing necessary to verify functionality, performance, and reliability will be completed using your test plan or our comprehensive test plan with equipment vendor specifications and developed for the site specific network design to verify all components work together as architected. The customer will be assured all active and passive components met specifications and presented with all functional testing results. For complete commissioning and Network integration our manufacture “Certified” integrators can provide commissioning of your systems and verification of system network integration with end to end system performance tests, complete circuit provisioning, system cut-over and traffic roll-over and live traffic testing.

At project conclusion we provide customer acceptance and project closure, complete with site installation and quality audits, site test data, end to end test results, NOC acceptance and Custom as-built Engineering Design Packages in formats that are requested by the customer including direct uploading to your specific record systems.

From project design to completion and in-service we have the professionals and processes to successfully deliver on-time and on-budget a solution that fits your requirements.
